Vision & Values

Our Mission: a Kingdom Resource Redeeming Destinies by Making Disciples

The ultimate example of God resourcing creation is the gift of Jesus Christ on the cross. All our doing, our acts of discipleship must be weighed against the cross. As a church called to be a Resource, we embrace the call to give sacrificially, to serve, equip and release the gifts God has given to His church.

Our call to be a church that redeems the destinies of people is also measured against the cross and the redemption that flows from it. For us, to redeem destinies involves us in many different acts but each one is focused on affecting both the earthly and eternal destinies of people.

Our Strategy: LOVE, GROW, SERVE, GO!

At Calvary Tabernacle, you’ll hear a lot about loving, serving, growing and going. We want to see everyone at Calvary Loving God, Serving others, Growing in their faith, and Going on mission.

Love Icon

LOVE: To start, we love God.

Matthew 22:37 - And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind."

Grow Icon

GROW: We grow in our faith measured by obedience, trust and involvement in His mission.

Psalm 92:12 - The godly grow like a palm tree; they grow high like a cedar in Lebanon. Planted in the Lord's house, they grow in the courts of our God. They bear fruit even when they are old; they are filled with vitality and have many leaves.

Serve Icon

SERVE: We serve one another.

1 Peter 4:10 - Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of the varied grace of God.

Go Icon

GO!: Everyone on mission at all times everywhere, and everyday.

Matthew 28:18 - Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
